Resumen:
The purpose of this work is to analyze different important points in databases such as SRIs the coverage and depth of Google Scholar and Lisa and compare both points in favor and both points against. Both are very different databases in which one is more popular and worldwide and free and the other is less popular, specialized and it needs a pay subscription. A section has been made where Google Scholar has been deepened, all the possibilities it has for searching and what evident deficiencies appear due to the lack of quality review of publications. And we have also done a thorough study of LISA, analyzing and investigating a lot more since we start off from obvious ignorance and we have seen the full range of possibilities available and the limits on the number of publications and coverage.
And finally, in the conclusions there is the comparison between the strengths and weaknesses of Google Scholar and LISA and there is a reflection on the two databases and how they adapt in different areas of knowledge either professionally or not.
