Strengthening ties, creating future, is the cover letter of the first Strategic Plan of the libraries of the University of Lleida, 2024-2028, result of reflection i of the joint work of the people who make up the Library and Documentation Unit of the University from Lleida. This plan starts at a moment of the deployment of the Strategic Plan 2030 of our university (approved on February 2022) and in the context of achieving the mandate that contains the new Organic Law of the University System (LOSU) (approved in March 2023). This law assumes a decisive step in the future of universities with a clear approach to support open science and of protection of the bibliographical heritage, areas in which the library occupies a prominent place, both in physical space as in virtual.
