[cat] Des de l’any 2006, la llengua occitana és oficial al conjunt de Catalunya, incloent-hi la major part del seu territori, on l’occità no és la llengua tradicional. En aquest treball analitzem el context lingüístic, territorial i històric que ho ha fet possible, i descrivim en què consisteix la dita oficialitat. A partir d’aquest cas concret, explorem les característiques del concepte general de l’oficialitat extraterritorial. |

[eng] Since 2006, the Occitan language is official in Catalonia as a whole, including most of its territory, where Occitan is not the traditional language. In this paper we analyse the linguistic, territorial and historical context which has made it possible, and we describe what this official status consists of. From this particular case, we explore the characteristics of the general concept of extraterritorial official status. |
