| dc.description | [spa] El objetivo principal del proyecto consiste en la ideación de una pieza escultórica sonora interactiva que intervenga el espacio simultáneamente de forma visual-tridimensional y de forma auditiva-temporal, proporcionando una experiencia artística colectiva en la que la colaboración de los cuerpos sea imprescindible para producir el evento sonoro. La pieza propuesta consiste en una versión del Arpa tradicional que sustituye las cuerdas por caídas de hilos de agua, utilizando los cambios en la frecuencia eléctrica de los cuerpos como elemento de excitación. La obra pretende relacionarse con los espacios que habita, resignificando conceptos asociados al mito de la relación aparentemente cerrada entre un instrumento y su intérprete. El resultado más relevante del proyecto ha sido la creación de una propuesta realizable de Arte Público, que se utilizará para la búsqueda de financiación y para la difusión del conocimiento empleado, multiplicando las posibilidades de que el proyecto se nutra de futuras versiones, que persigan asimismo una concepción colaborativa y abierta de la creación artística. En ningún caso se pretende obtener una obra acabada en el TFG, sino una maqueta a escala funcional del Harphydrophone que sirva de punto de partida para desarrollar el proyecto. | |
| dc.description | [eng] The main goal of the Harphydrophone is the creation of an interactive sculptural piece that simulates the surrounding space in a visual-three-dimensional, and auditory-temporal way. In turn, providing a collective artistic experience, where the collaboration of multiple bodies is essential for the sonorous event. The piece is based on the traditional harp, substituting strings of metal with strings of water. The interaction between the water strings and involved bodies changes the electric frequency, creating the element of excitation. The piece aspires to relate with the spaces in which it habitates, resignifying concepts associated with the myth of the apparently closed relationship between an instrument and the musician. The Harphydrophone has been created with it’s potential as Public Art in mind, which will be used to search for funding, with the intention to disseminate knowledge, and expand possibilities of future related projects. Laying the groundwork for future versions of the Harphydrophone and other creations, similarly in pursuit of a collaborative conception of artistic creation. This particular Harphydrophone is not intended as a finished work, but a functional scale model. It serves as a starting point - a point of origin to develop future projects. | |
