[cat] “Sàrsia” és el títol que rep la instal·lació que presento com a treball de final de Grau de Belles Arts. Aquesta instal·lació, realitzada dins l’àmbit de gravat, és una crítica al desastre natural que els éssers humans estem provocant al medi marí: la minva de peix, concretament de peix blau al Mediterrani. A través de la sobreexplotació, la pesca abusiva i, fins i tot, de la contaminació, estem fent que la quantitat de peix que hi ha al nostre mar cada cop sigui menor. Les sàrsies que, anteriorment varen ser tan útils pels nostres avis, ara resulten ser eines agressives, que destrueixen els sòls marins i que capturen i arrasen amb tot el que es troben per davant. D’aquesta manera, inicio una recerca plàstica que em permeti parlar d’aquest
tema seguint el meu procés de treball fins a dia d’avui. |

[eng] “Sarsia” is the title given to the installation I exhibit as my Final Paper for the Fine Arts Degree.
This installation, made on the field of engraving, is a criticism to the natural disaster that we, as humans, are causing to the sea environment: the decline of fish, especially of Mediterranean blue fish. Because of the overexploitation, the abusive fishing and even the pollution, we are causing that the amount of fish in our seas is being less and less. The fishing nets that previously were so helpful to our grandparents are now
being aggressive tools that destroy the marine soils, catch and kill everything they find ahead.
Thus, on this way, I start a plastic research that allows me to speak up about an issue that has been crucial to my my work process up to this day. |
