| dc.description | [spa] La evolución de la especie humana parece que va encaminada a una fusión con sus creaciones tecnológicas. Esta fusión la podemos ver reflejada en los Ciborgs, simbiosis de humano y ciencia. La inquietud por este posible futuro, es lo que ha originado este proyecto. Un futuro que ya está aquí. No es de extrañar conocer a alguien con algún tipo de implante que mejora su calidad de vida, ya sea biomecánico o biotecnológico. La representación de un Ciborg, en este caso es una pregunta al espectador, que le interroga por aquello que quizá no se ha planteado aún.¿Hasta dónde está dispuesto a transigir, en relación a cuerpo y mente, para mejorar su calidad de vida?¿Cuándo empieza la máquina y cuando el ser humano? Si el ser humano se transforma en un Ciborg, la muerte podría pasar a ser solo una avería reparable. Estos “pos-humanos” serán los albaceas de la cultura y la historia de lo que fuimos. ¿Cómo conseguir que se creen nuevos seres si no es necesario y por qué? Recuperar las variables de la descendencia genética, para poder evolucionar. | |
| dc.description | [eng] The human race evolution seems to go towards a fusion with our technologic creations. This fusion can be reflected on Cyborgs, symbiosi of human and science. The worry for this possible future is the reason of this project. A future that is already here. Is not so odd to know someone with any kind of implant that improve his quality of life, either biomechanical or biotechnological. Cyborg representation in this case is a question for the spectator, that examine him for what he perhaps still didn ́t think about. How far is ready to tolerate, related to body and mind, to improve his quality of life? Where begins the machine and where the human being? If the human being transforms to a Cyborg, death could be only a repairable breakdown. These “post-humans” will be the keepers of culture and history of what we were. ¿How to get more new beings if they are not necessary and why?. Recover genetic descendant variables to evolve. | |
