| dc.description | [spa] El siguiente trabajo de creación audiovisual se realiza como Trabajo de Final del Grado de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Barcelona, y se trata de un conjunto de cortos animados que hablan sobre varias situaciones que se dan a partir de la religión cristiana y dentro de la Iglesia católica. Por tanto se puede decir que el tema que deseo abordar es una crítica a una parte de la religión, no con el fin de desacreditar creencias u ofender gratuitamente a este colectivo, sino con el objetivo de mostrar verdades que muchos ojos se niegan a ver y aceptar. Dentro de este contenido principal, se incluirían temas más concretos que considero importante mostrar, como pueden ser la pederastia encubierta por la propia Iglesia, la pobreza que los textos bíblicos promueven y que la institución eclesiástica claramente no cumple, o la actitud de muchos practicantes de acudir a misa y prometer ante su dios actitudes y valores que en el día a día no cumplen. Así como ideologías discriminatorias como el machismo y la homofobia que innegablemente han formado parte del mundo cristiano. De esta manera, el corto sería un conjunto de pequeñas escenas que mostrarían de forma irónica estas incongruencias que a veces se dan en la práctica de la fe católica. Este tema ha sido uno presente a lo largo de mi vida, he podido conocer las creencias católicas “desde dentro”: cuando creía en ellas al ser una niña, y actualmente desde un punto de vista exterior y más maduro desde el que observo cómo algunos creyentes hacen ver que creen en la palabra que su fe promueve, pero aun así se comportan de manera contraria a ésta. | |
| dc.description | [eng] To develop my End of Grade Work I want to create an animation short film through which I will make a critique of Catholic religious fanaticism, and some of the values that the Church promulgates and that I personally find doubtful or hypocritical. Therefore the subject I want to address is a criticism of a part of religion, not in order to discredit beliefs or offend this group gratuitously, but with the aim of showing truths that many eyes refuse to see and to accept. Within this main content, it will be included more concrete topics that I consider important to show. Such as disguised pederasty by the Church itself, the poverty that the biblical texts promote and that the ecclesiastical institution clearly does not comply, or the attitude of many practitioners of going to church and promising to their god attitudes and values that they don’t meet in the day to day. As well as discriminatory ideologies such as sexism and homophobia that undeniably have been part of the Christian world. In this way, the short would be a set of small scenes (less than 1 minute each) that in an ironic way would show these incongruities that sometimes occur in the practice of the Catholic faith. I have chosen this subject because it has been one present throughout my life, because several of my older relatives are deeply catholics practitioner. So I have been able to know Catholic beliefs "from within": when I believed in them as a child, and now from an external and mature point of view, from which I observe how some believers pretend that they believe in the word that their faith promotes, but still behave contrary to it’s laws. | |
